APPEARANCE

With her blond hair and blue eyes, Claire is what many would think to be a typical European girl. Her short stature and petit frame doesn’t necessarily give her an intimidating appearance; though with her brains and her expert control over her poker face, she doesn’t need to rely on her body to exert confidence and power. Her long hair is almost always kept in a loose but neat braid, with short strands of hair framing her face. She keeps her bangs pinned to the side with a couple of small hair clips. Claire’s skin is fair, and easily burns due to the fact that she never spent much time outdoors growing up.

PERSONALITY

For the most part, Claire is a rather mature woman who tends to take everything a little too seriously. While this is not far from the truth, it certainly does not compose the entirety of her person. She maintains her formal manners in order to give off the impression of professionalism to those she comes across, especially new acquaintances and guests. Professionalism is important to her, for it’s how she can exhibit her skills and knowledge to others, no matter what the situation may call for. She tends to keep her poker face on when she is with others in order to avoid personal ordeals interfering with her work and her relations with others, especially over business.

Despite her overly formal demeanor, Claire is a kind young woman who is motherly towards her friends and companions. She will offer a smile to those she grows a friendship or stable acquaintanceship with. She doesn’t strive to pursue poor relationships with anyone due to her disdain for arguments and violence among people. She is always willing to help anyone who needs help, even if it might be outside of the realm of her talents.

Though it may seem contradictory to her organized way of life, Claire loves gambling, specifically games of chance, such as Vingt-et-un. She enjoys the thrill that comes from the unexpected during a good game of cards, as well as analyzing her opponents to discover what their body language says about their hand. However, she does beat herself up when she is alone after losing due to the shame she feels she brings upon the family casino when she obtains anything less than victory.

The Monegasque female is obsessed with gathering information, giving her a love for gossip. While she is not one for spreading it herself, she finds great pleasure in listening to others gossip to discover what she can about those she works with and cares for. She detests being “left out of the loop” when secrets are formed, especially about herself. Anything that could ruin her reputation among her coworkers and customers serves only to belittle Claire, a feeling that repulses the blond woman.

Claire is not afraid to state her personal opinions, often lending herself to debates with others, something she quite enjoys when kept under control and away from growing into an argument or fight with her comrades. She has a response to most anything presented to her, often backed with facts and information she has collected over time. The sharing of knowledge is her drive, and she has no qualms with exchanging any amount of information with others, with hopes that she may learn about others through her communication, observation, and general kindness towards those who surround her.
